Dannys Logo
Dannys is a relatively new florist. They are a small business with most of their customers being older women and mothers. After some research I found out that a lot of their customers were buying flowers for funerals.

The client wanted a logo that catered to their current target market/customers and portrayed their beautiful and fresh flowers.

The concept that I came up with was a flower just beginning to bloom. This can be considered as the freshest and newest state of a flower. Fresh, organic greens and beautiful, calm pinks are used. This colour palette is appealing to the target market (30-50 yr old women).

The blooming of the flower also represents new life, portraying a positive vibe for the mourners and the funeral. You know the saying "With death new life is born". Or something like that. Below are some applications of the logo. It always helps to see the logo in context to see it in its full potentiol. Notice how the logo is still effective when scaled down.
