Personal Logo
I made this as a personal logo of mine, made to brand me.
I wanted the logo to reflect my name (DHC), and also the style of my design and personality.
The "H-like" symbol of my logo is actually a monogram of "DHC". The sides of the "H" are curved outwards to create a "D" and "C".
The negative space inside the D and C also make two arrows pointing inwards, towards that single horizontal line. This shows my simple, clean and minimalistic design style.
Here is the logo on a black and white background. It is important that a logo works on both backgrounds to make sure that it is adaptable to a wide variety of background colours. But more importantly, this shows how effective the form of the logo is, without relying on color. It is proven that the more easily the form of the logo is seen, the more recognizable it is, and the more memorable it is.
This is a very important factor for all logos.
